Training Format: Hybrid

This is a hybrid mediation training. In-person and virtual participants will be trained together in the same room.

Duration: 3 Months.

Spring 2024 Training: We will meet every Thursday, 6 PM – 9 PM Eastern Time, from March 7 to May 30, 2024.

• March 7, 14, 21, 28; April 4, 11, 18, 25; May 2, 9, 16, 23, 30.

Fall 2024 Training: We will meet every Thursday, 6 PM – 9 PM Eastern Time, from September 5 to November 28, 2024.

• September 5, 12, 19, 26; October 3, 10, 17, 24, 31; November 7, 14, 21, 28.

Fall participants will be given free access to the Annual International Conference on Ethnic and Religious Conflict Resolution and Peacebuilding held every year in the last week of September.

Registration Policy

The registration fee for Ethno-Religious Mediation Training is $1,295 USD.

Participants are responsible for the cost of transportation and accommodation. There are hotels in the neighborhood.

Cancellation Policy

Event Cancellation by ICERMediation:
ICERMediation reserves the right to cancel any event due to lack of enrollment or other factors. In the event of a cancellation, registered participants will be notified by email in advance and all payments received will be refunded in full by ICERMediation.

Cancellation by Registered Participants:
All registration cancellations by participants must be received in writing. Cancellation notices should be directed to the ICERMediation Office by email: icerm(at)icermediation.org at least one week in advance of the retreat date. You will receive a full refund of your training registration fee. However, membership fees are non-refundable.

International participants

International participants (i.e., those living outside the United States) who want to participate in this training should apply first. You can only register for the training after you have been accepted into the program. After completing the application process and registration payment, you can send a request to ICERMediation for an official letter of invitation for your visa application if you need a visa to attend the training in New York.

Cancellation Policy for Registered International Participants:

International participants will not receive a refund of the fee they paid for this training after cancellation. Since this is a hybrid mediation training, you will be moved to the virtual training if you are unable to come to New York for the in-person training.
