Call for Papers

Conference Overview

The 9th Annual International Conference on Ethnic and Religious Conflict Resolution and Peacebuilding invites scholars, researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and activists to submit proposals for papers addressing any emerging ethnic, racial, religious, sectarian, caste, or international conflicts worldwide. In addition to our heritage preservation and transmission theme, the conference aims to explore innovative strategies for managing and resolving identity and intergroup conflicts to promote peace, stability, and social cohesion.

Conflicts rooted in ethnic, racial, religious, sectarian, caste, or international tensions continue to pose significant challenges to global peace and security. From communal violence to inter-state disputes, these conflicts often result in profound humanitarian crises, displacement, and loss of life. Understanding the complexities of these conflicts and identifying effective approaches for resolution is essential to fostering sustainable peace and reconciliation.

Conference Themes

We invite papers that address, but are not limited to, the following topics:

  1. Analysis of emerging ethnic, racial, religious, sectarian, caste, or international conflicts
  2. Causes and drivers of conflict escalation
  3. Impact of identity politics on conflict dynamics
  4. Role of media and propaganda in exacerbating tensions
  5. Comparative studies of conflict resolution mechanisms
  6. Case studies of successful conflict resolution initiatives
  7. Innovative approaches to mediation and negotiation
  8. Reconciliation and post-conflict reconstruction efforts
  9. Role of civil society in peacebuilding and conflict transformation
  10. Strategies for promoting interfaith dialogue and cooperation
