World Elders Forum

Traditional Rulers from Nigeria joined indigenous representatives from other countries in New York City for the inauguration of the World Elders Forum.
From October 30 to November 1, 2018, many indigenous leaders participated in our 5th Annual International Conference on Ethnic and Religious Conflict Resolution and Peacebuilding.
During this conference, research papers on the Traditional Systems and Processes of Conflict Resolution were presented.
The conference was held at Queens College, City University of New York.
Moved by what they learned, these indigenous leaders agreed on November 1, 2018 to establish the World Elders Forum, an international forum for traditional rulers and indigenous leaders.
To help indigenous leaders and their community members at home and in the diaspora preserve their culture, tradition and language, and connect with one another, ICERMediation recently launched the Virtual Indigenous Kingdoms project.Â
