Change of Location: 2023 International Conference on Ethnic and Religious Conflict Resolution and Peacebuilding

New Location for the 2023 Conference:

This is to inform you that the 8th Annual International Conference on Ethnic and Religious Conflict Resolution and Peacebuilding will NO LONGER be held at Manhattanville College in Purchase, New York. 

The conference has been moved to the ICERMediation office in White Plains, New York located inside the Westchester Business Center.

Many of our in-person presenters and participants are coming from abroad and other U.S. states. We want to make your visit to the Westchester County of New York more enjoyable. This is why we decided to move the conference from Purchase to White Plains, New York. The City of White Plains is at the center of everything. There is a direct train (Metro North Train) from Manhattan, New York City, for those who wish to visit Manhattan after the conference. Our office is at a walking distance from many hotels and the train station. 

We shall use two conference rooms (A and B) inside the building.

The dates still remain Tuesday, September 26 – Thursday, September 28, 2023.

Airport:

All international flights to New York arrive at John F. Kennedy (JFK) International Airport. You may consider booking a shuttle from the airport to your hotel. You should book the shuttle in advance prior to your arrival. The shuttle company will give you reservation information about their service, pickup time and location. Shuttle service is moderately cheap. Another option is to take an Uber or a Lift or taxi from the airport to your hotel. This option may seem expensive to international participants. 

Participants coming from other states in the United States and Canada can arrive through LaGuardia Airport. Some local flights arrive at the Westchester County Airport. Westchester County Airport is located at about less than 10 minutes from the conference location in White Plains. Those in the United States may consider arriving through the Westchester County Airport.
