The Language Club of White Plains at the International Center for Ethno-Religious Mediation (ICERMediation) is currently seeking enthusiastic and qualified individuals to join our team as Part-Time Spanish Teachers. We have multiple vacancies available for certified Spanish language teachers capable of teaching after-school classes for students ranging from grades 3 through 12. Additionally, we welcome applications from individuals currently enrolled in college-level Spanish language programs.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct engaging and effective Spanish language lessons for students in grades 3 through 12.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with the Language Club of White Plains team to develop and enhance curriculum materials.
• Provide regular feedback on students’ progress and maintain open communication with parents.

Qualifications:

• Certification in Spanish instruction.
• Proficiency in both English and Spanish.
• Experience in teaching Spanish to students in grades 3 through 12.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs.
• Native Spanish language speakers are highly encouraged to apply.
• Candidates currently enrolled in a college-level Spanish language program can also apply.

Location:

The Language Club of White Plains’ in-person Spanish lessons will be held in White Plains, New York. Therefore, applicants should be local or willing to commute to this location.

Schedule:

Spanish Teachers must be available to teach after-school and Saturday Spanish classes in White Plains, New York. Specific compensation and weekly schedules will be discussed during the interview process.
